Introduction
For more than 80 years, St. John’s Amateur Baseball has played a significant role in the sporting history and culture of Newfoundland & Labrador while expanding its reach and impact across multiple communities.
The Hall of Fame was established to recognize and preserve the achievements of those whose dedication, leadership, and athletic excellence left a meaningful impact. We honor both on-field accomplishments and off-field contributions through two primary streams: Player and Builder.
Induction Streams
1. Player Stream
Recognizes individuals who through on-field performance and playing accomplishments had a significant impact on St. John’s Amateur Baseball.
Note: Achievements outside the league may be included, but impact within the league must stand on its own merit.
2. Builder Stream
Recognizes individuals who contributed to the growth, administration, coaching, development, or long-term success of the organization.
Note: Applications are limited specifically to contributions within St. John’s Amateur Baseball.
Era / Class Categories
Candidates are evaluated within historical eras reflective of their time of service.
Pioneer Era
Contributions concluded prior to 1985.
Millennium Era
Contributions concluded between 1985 and 2000.
Modern Era
Contributions concluded between 2001 and up to 3 years prior to current season.
